Courses in Naturopathy

In Australia there are many colleges and institutes that offer degree, diploma and certificate courses in naturopathy. There are different course structures for these different courses with different colleges. You can choose and select the one of your choice. The field of naturopathy is very vast that includes a number of different disciples in it. Each section has its own course structure. The Southern Cross University in New South Wales through its School of Natural and Complimentary Medicine has a four year program that leads to a degree of Bachelor of Naturopathy. There is another course that awards a degree of Bachelor of Natural Therapies. The course includes study in the fields of biomedical science, phytotherapy, homeopathy and training in nutrition.

The Latrobe University in the Australian state of Victoria has a 5 year combined course that awards a degree of Bachelor of Naturopathy. However, presently the university has stopped taking in more students for this particular course.

The University of Western Sydney in New South Wales offers a four year full time diploma course in Naturopathy. There is also a three year course that awards a degree of Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy).
